Description
The DISTRICT intends to procure necessary labor, supervision, rental equipment, safety equipment rental, scaffold rental, scaffolding inspection, and conveyances, including the mobilization/demobilization necessary for the erection and dismantle of all internal and external boiler and associated plant area scaffolding to allow for general maintenance activities from execution of Contract until December 31, 2025, performance bond and all other requirements as specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

*** THREE DAY MANDATORY SITE VISIT ***
The DISTRICT has scheduled one (1) mandatory site visit to walk down the scaffolding work scope at 8:00 a.m., CDT on October 3, 2023, October 4, 2023, and October 5, 2023, at the DISTRICT’S Gerald Gentleman Station, located near Sutherland, Nebraska. It is imperative that all prospective Bidders attend this site visit. Proposals will not be accepted from any Bidder not in attendance at the site visit. If you plan to attend the site visit, please email Greg Trofholz at gatrofh@nppd.com, and Lynn Guilliatt at l1guill@nppd.com before September 29, 2023, with the names of those attending and the company they represent. Past experience has shown that the mandatory walk down will take more than one (1) full day. Please plan your travel accordingly.
Bidders’ personnel who will be in attendance for the Mandatory Site Visit shall follow the DISTRICT and associated GGS plant safety policies during their site visit. The DISTRICT’S GGS facility is a secured site. Please allow thirty (30) minutes for security inspections prior to entering the GGS site. A current photo ID is required for site access, along with hard hats and safety shoes.
