Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment for performing modifications to the DISTRICT’S Silver Creek 115kV substation located near Silver Creek, Nebraska in accordance with the Contract drawings and Construction Standards shown on drawing index 460027070 and included in ATTACHMENT B. The work includes removal and loading of a Power Circuit Breaker (PCB), foundation removal, installation of foundations, setting a PCB, setting new Zero Voltage Close (ZVC) breaker, installing jumpers, cable work, conduit, grounding, and spreading rock at the Silver Creek 115kV Substation.  The location of the Silver Creek 115kV substation can be found on drawing Contract drawing 490022531 included in ATTACHMENT B.

A non-mandatory pre bid Microsoft Teams meeting for prospective Bidders will be held on November 14, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. CST. The purpose of the teleconference will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating on the teleconference, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this teleconference.
