Description
Nebraska Public Power District intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, rental equipment, safety equipment rental, as needed miscellaneous materials (weld rod, cutting or welding gasses, or similar), and conveyances, including the mobilization / demobilization necessary for providing mechanical craft services on Sheldon Station (SS) Coal Conveyor No. 1 (Conveyor).

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit for prospective bidders will be held at 9:00 a.m., CST on November 9, 2022, at the DISTRICT’S SS, located near Hallam, Nebraska, for the purpose of reviewing the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements and to provide the opportunity to view the site of the work. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is imperative that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. Bids will not be accepted from any Bidder not in attendance at the pre-bid meeting. If you plan to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit, please email Lori Moore at lmmoore@nppd.com, and Lynn Guilliatt at l1guill@nppd.com by November 7, 2022, with the names of those attending and the company they represent. It is expected that this mandatory meeting and walk down will take two (2) to three (3) hours to complete.
