Description
The Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, and conveyances, mobilization and demobilization to stabilize the south bank of the Niobrara River to protect the access road to Transmission Line (TL) 2301A located southwest of Niobrara, Nebraska.Â

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
A non-mandatory site visit for prospective Bidders will be held at the site which is on a private drive off of 891st Road southwest of Niobrara, Nebraska (See Drawing No. 460028655, Figure 1 included in ATTACHMENT B), at 10:00 a.m., CST, December 7, 2023. Directions to the site are included below. The purpose of the site visit will be to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract specifications and to familiarize the Bidder with the site project layout. If you plan to attend the site visit, please email Greg Trofholz at gatrofh@nppd.com, and Doug Meyers at dameyer@nppd.com before December 6, 2023, with the names of those attending and the company they represent.
Directions to the site: From Verdigre, Nebraska take 881st Road west to 512th Avenue, go north on 512th Avenue until reaching 891st Road. Take 891st Road (which transitions to Wilson Road) to the northwest for approximately 2.5 miles to reach the site.
