The CONTRACTOR shall provide partial material procurement, fabrication, testing, delivery, labor, supervision, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, demobilization, preparation/planning, cutting, grinding, welding, visual examination, and submittals for the fabrication and installation of the Fish Spray System, at the DISTRICT’S Cooper Nuclear Station.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit for prospective Bidders will be held at held at Cooper Nuclear Station, located at 72676 648A Avenue, Brownville, Nebraska, on October 24, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., CDT. The purpose of the meeting will be to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract specifications and allow prospective Bidders a chance to walkdown the worksite. Personnel desiring to participate in the site visit and view the work area must provide their full name, picture identification (i.e., Driver’s License or Federal/State I.D.) and Social Security Number. Bidder personnel having been denied access or removed from activities within the scope of 10 C.F.R. §73.56 at any nuclear power plant shall not be allowed access. Items not allowed on the DISTRICT’S property which will prohibit entrance are specifically: weapons, explosives, controlled substances, alcoholic beverages and empty alcoholic beverage containers. Those participating in the site visit will be required to have personnel protective equipment: safety glasses with side-shields, safety shoes, and hard hats. The DISTRICT will escort Bidders in order that the Bidders can walk down the work area. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the meeting and site visit, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting.
