Description
Nebraska Public Power District intends to procure all labor, supervision, mobilization/demobilization, tools, apparatus, equipment, and conveyances necessary to dredge the Sediment Basin of the South Platte Supply Canal (Korty Canal) located on the South Platte River, approximately six (6) miles west of Paxton, Nebraska.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at the DISTRICT’S Paxton Maintenance Office, located at 311 East 3rd St., Paxton, NE, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., MST, for the purpose of reviewing the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. Once the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting has concluded, Bidders will have the opportunity to do a site walk down of the Sediment Basin located in the Korty Canal adjoining the South Platte River. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. If you plan to participate, email Kayla Paczosa at kkpaczo@nppd.com and Melinda (Mindy) Evans at maevans@nppd.com with the names of those representatives planning to participate in this pre-bid and the company they represent by Friday, February 2, 2024.
