Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to enter into a Contract with an electrical testing and commissioning CONTRACTOR to provide the necessary labor and material to perform general maintenance and testing on the DISTRICT’S Unit 1 Main Transformer (UMT) A-1, B-1 C-1, D-1 and the Unit Auxiliary Transformer (UAT) A-1 during a planned outage at the DISTRICT’S Gerald Gentleman Station (GGS).  District personnel will be on site to inspect and oversee the Contractor’s work to ensure compliance with District policies and procedures. The DISTRICT is requesting written proposals from various contractors to assess their capability to provide qualified electrical testing and commissioning personnel to help support the DISTRICT’S substation crew.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at 6089 South Highway 25, Sutherland, Nebraska, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., CST, for the purpose of reviewing the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. If you plan to participate, email Kayla Paczosa at kkpaczo@nppd.com and Melinda (Mindy) Evans at maevans@nppd.com with the names of those representatives planning to participate in this pre-bid and the company they represent.
