Notes	The City of Lincoln, hereinafter referred to as Owner, is requesting bids from qualified companies for the equipment, material, and labor associated with the abatement and demolition of the Pershing Auditorium. A pre-bid meeting will be held on the west side at the front doors at the Pershing Auditorium, 226 Centennial Mall South, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508 . This will be the only opportunity to view the inside of the building prior to bid close. Please complete Attachment L Pershing Pre-Bid Waiver and email to Teresa Fleming at tfleming@lincoln.ne.gov prior to the pre-bid. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend this pre-bid meeting.

Question	Will contractor be required to bag and pay for meters or will the city handle bagging and no cost to contractor?
Answer	If the Contractor deems it needs parking outside of the site footprint, costs for such parking will be the responsibility of the Contractor.

Question	If additional asbestos material is discovered will additional time be given for completion?
Answer	A blanket answer cannot be given for this question. If additional work of any kind is discovered, it will be evaluated in good faith with the Contractor to determine scope and potential impact to the project schedule, along with any appropriate changes to project cost and time.

Question	It appears there is pipe insulation on catwalk level with asbestos, no quantities are listed for this material. How should we price this?
Answer	The asbestos survey identified that there is likely piping at the catwalk level which will require abatement, but the amount could not be safely determined at the time. For purposes of the bid, do not include a cost in the lump sum for this piping. An addendum will add a unit price to be provided with the bid to abate this piping.

Answer	The anticipated notice to proceed will be no later than June 1, 2023.

Question	Who is responsible for payment for Asbestos Free Letter and Ait Tests? If City is paying for final sign off, is there a set number of areas scheduled for visuals and air testing?
Answer	All testing and documentation related to the verification of abatement completion is the responsibility of the Contractor, including the costs to perform such testing and verification, and shall be included in the Contractor's bid price.

Question	Would Saturdays be allowed to work on Abatement?
Answer	In general, yes. Contractor will be required to coordinate with downtown events, University of Nebraska home football games, etc. But in general work would be allowed on Saturdays with proper coordination.

Answer	Completion date will be equitably adjusted if the start date is delayed through no fault of the Contractor.
