The City of Fremont is accepting proposals for equipment and installation of five (5) warning sirens.
Bids and all supportive documents are to be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, 400 East Military Ave., Fremont, NE 68025 by the bid opening on Friday, June 9th, 2023, 2:00 p.m. No late bids will be accepted.
1. Bids must be received by the date and time of the proposal opening indicated above. No late bids will be accepted. Proposal should be delivered to: Fremont City Clerk 400 East Military Avenue Fremont, Nebraska 68025
2. Exclude all taxes. (city is tax exempt)
3. Bids must be in a sealed envelope/container and marked “Warning Sirens for the City of Fremont”.
4. Vendor shall provide itemized quotes to include software, equipment costs, installation, training, and maintenance.
5. The City shall not be liable for any pre-contract costs incurred by interested vendors participating in the selection process.
6. The items marked as BIDDER COMPLIANT “No” must be accompanied with an explanation of the exception and what the impact will be on the finished product.
7. The City will be awarding a contract to a single vendor for all core applications. Vendors are allowed to provide a proposal that includes subcontractors, but the City will be entering into a single agreement with one vendor acting as a Prime. The Prime vendor will be responsible for the timeliness, quality, and deliverables provided by any subcontractors under the Prime vendor’s agreement.
8. Bids will be not be accepted by electronic means (email, fax, etc.).
9. Bids may not be altered after opening.
10. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part of thereof, deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
11. The contents of each vendor’s bid, shall remain valid for 100 days from the bid opening.
