The University of Nebraska is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for improving the domestic water in the entire building and the restroom situation in the west building. The project consists of four main parts:

1. Restroom
a. Add a unisex/family ADA restroom to the east side of the 2nd floor.
b. Finish, fixture and lighting upgrades to all four west building restrooms.
c. Remove and replace galvanized piping for all four west building restrooms.

2. Water entry
a. Remove and replace the water entry with copper pipe and new reduced pressure backflow preventer.

3. Central Water Softening
a. Install a new water softener system for the whole building.

b. Route non-soft water piping to the greenhouse.

4. Sanitary Sewer
a. Note the jetting of vents and sanitary sewer mains to clean debris from the piping.
