This is a brand name only J&A to limit competition to GE physiological monitoring equipment only. A brief explanation for why this is needed is that the Omaha VAMC and Minneapolis VAMC have an established infrastructure in place for these GE machines that will no longer be able to function properly due to VA's new electronic health records system.
