PROJECT TITLE: NKAO JANITORIAL SERVICES
NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, BUT RATHER A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION FOR THIS WORK EXISTS AT THIS TIME.
The Bureau of Reclamation requires Janitorial Services at the Nebraska-Kansas Area Office, 1706 West 3rd St, McCook, NE 69001. Janitorial services will provide cleaning of administrative office areas, conference rooms, entrance and hallways, restrooms, and facility locker room to maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, cleaning supplies (unless otherwise specified) and supervision. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and commercial practices. Total approximate square footage is 11,100. The flooring is a combination of carpet (8,654 sq.ft.), tile (1,698 sq.ft.) and concrete (748 sq.ft.).

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Janitorial services are required on a daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly basis.
A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is included with this Sources Sought Synopsis detailing all tasks that are required at the location.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: 1706 West 3rd St, McCook, Nebraska (Red Willow County).
ESTIMATED SQUARE FOOTAGE. The Government has estimated the number of square feet of floor space and the Contractor shall make no claim against the Government for any excess or deficiency therein. There is a total of approximately 11,100 square feet, a specific flooring breakdown is identified in the PWS.
NORMAL PERFORMANCE HOURS. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday, holidays excluded. However, the above hours may be flexible at the discretion of the CO or the designated Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE).
SPECIAL EVENTS/EMERGENCIES. On occasion, the Contractor may be required to provide additional or limited services because of an unforeseen circumstance or combination of circumstances. Section C-5 describes the Contractor¿s responsibilities for such services.
RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential contractors for solicitation planning purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.
All vendors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
When it is determined that a formal solicitation will be issued, a Solicitation Notice will be posted on SAM.gov Federal Contract Opportunities at https://sam.gov.
