R- 562 Archaeological Survey





On or about 10 May 2023, this office will issue Request for Quote (RFQ) for cultural resource services as part of the repairs for the R-562 Levee System in portions of Otoe and Nemaha Counties in Nebraska.





The solicitation will close on or about 25 May 2023. This solicitation is restricted to SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY.





Site Visit:



Site visit information will be issued with the solicitation.





Project Description:





This contract is to conduct Class III identification survey of lands associated with the repairs for the R-562 Levee system. After award of the contract, USACE will provide the contractor shapefiles that identify the survey locations. Following completion of the inventory, the contractor will produce a report of the inventory as well as History Nebraska site forms and geospatial data for all encountered sites, to include an evaluation and recommendation of eligibility status for the R-562 levee according to the processes found in NRB 15. The contract involves a base and twenty options.





Period of Performance:



Base + 20 options 180 days.
